Who We Are

Samba na Chuva is the premier Samba troupe of Humboldt County, California. Our name means Samba in the Rain in Portuguese, the beautiful language of Brasil. We are here to share our love of samba dance and music with the North Coast.  We strive to produce high quality shows for our audiences, but more importantly we focus on continuing our education of Brazilian music and dance. We are grateful to all our Brazilian teachers and friends who have influenced us during our experiences with this amazing culture!
